P&I top up health insurance - This plan complements your P&I cover and your seafarers are covered onshore while off duty. The plan includes a very comprehensive in-patient cover, certain day patient treatments and out-patient cover. The plan is flat rated (same premiums for all seafarers independent of age) and avaliable for larger groups.

We work with insurers who understands the maritime industry. These insurers realize that seafarers health is key to employers as seafarers spend months at sea each time. As such seafarers regularly undergo health screenings and needs valid health certificates to sign on to their ships - meaning seafarers are comparatively healthy! This "health guarantee" provides incentives for insurers with insight in the industry to offer very competitive premiums for comprehensive health insurance plans.

We offer specific benefits to seafarers - among other benefits, ship to shore cover! Utilizing your P&I cover for evacuation from your ship will most likely mean paying a high deductible/excess as well as impacting your future P&I premiums.

Employee investment account – Set to run over a number of years (vesting period) chosen by the employer (typically 5 years). Funds accumulated paid to employees who stays with the company throughout the vesting period. Fund accumulated for employees who decide to leave the company before the end of the vesting period is returned to the company. Excellent way to retain and attract employees in an industry well known for high staff turnover.
